How items move between buckets
Three criteria. One promise.

Items move from Later to Soon when they are scoped and the dependencies are in. They move from Soon to Next when the work starts. They move from Next to Now when the build is in flight. They move from Now to the changelog when they ship.

We avoid public commitments to specific dates inside a quarter. Software estimates are wrong by default; quarter-level commitments are the smallest unit we can confidently hold.

  • In scope means committed for this quarter. Things in Soon will ship by end of quarter or move to Next-quarter Soon with a public note.
  • Planned means decided but not yet started. Things in Next are the queue, in priority order.
  • In build means in active development. Things in Now are mid-build, expected to ship inside the month.
  • The promise: when an item slips a bucket, we update the page and note why. No silent moves.
What is not here
Six things we are not building.

Outbound sourcing from scraped data.
No LinkedIn scraping. No buying data from grey-market vendors. Candidate pool is always inbound or manager-known.

Executive search.
Inbound is not the right channel for top-of-market exec hiring. We are honest that we are not the right tool here.

Full HRIS or payroll.
Integrations yes; building them no. We plug into BambooHR, Rippling, HiBob, Workday rather than competing with them.

Recruiting agency tooling.
Different value prop, different commercial model. Not on the path.

Per-seat or per-role pricing.
We will not add seat fees or platform minimums. The 99-cent unit is the model. Volume discount via annual contracts only.

Stock photography of diverse people in conference rooms.
A vibe commitment, not a feature commitment. But we mean it.
